Marc Hope

A talented middle distance youth runner, Marc’s BASC role is to help the Club build relationships with International and National Federations / Major Events/OCs, and assist with marketing. Marc plays a leading role in sports sponsorship as Director The Sports Consultancy ,in the past spearheading successful corporate sponsorship for Glasgow 2014 and now back leading on  British Athletics sponsorship as well as on their major event programme ie London 2017, IAAF World Indoor Championships Birmingham 2018 and European Indoor Championships 2019. Marc brought in Muller to the Sport.

He has also been involved in politics, standing in the 2015 General Election, and presents a sports show on hospital radio. Marc, married with three children, lives in Richmond/Twickenham, and still finds time for his Athletics Club (The world’s oldest), Thames Hare and Hounds. Marc is also Vice Chair of London Youth Games and brought in their long term sponsors Balfour Beatty and Thames Water.
