British Athletics Supporters Club is deeply saddened by the news that Graham Botley, athlete, administrator and a recognised and renowned athletics aficionado, passed away on Sunday 30th August at the age of 71.
If there was a British athlete competing in an IAAF athletics or cross-country event anywhere in the world, Graham Botley would be there, organising and choreographing the attendance of spectators and supporters from the UK. And, this is one of the distinctions of this remarkable man who was both a gentleman and a gentle man: he shared his passion for our sport by making it accessible to so many.

Normal service on the British Athletics Supporters Club website has been resumed! The club apologises for any inconvience caused by the week long blackout to both website and BASC emails. The issue was administrative rather than technical, and the resolution was out of our hands. Persistence on the part of those involved with the website eventually pushed the various bodies who had responsibility to reinstate the club's domain.
