Frequently asked questions.....you ask and we answer. |
Is there a family category of membership?
|
Please get in touch with us if you would be interested in this. We are always looking for ways to involve younger enthusiasts in the club and to come up with events with them in mind. The Crystal Palace and Gateshead grand prix meetings, both of which last under 4 hours, are excellent introductions for children to the sport. |
Does the club sell its own merchandise?
|
New members joining the club are sent a free car sticker and pin badge - further car stickers and pin badges as well as members' ties can be purchased on request, subject to availability.
We are currently planning to produce a selection of reasonably-priced BASC merchandise, such as baseball caps, pens, notelets etc to be sold on the club's stand at the major UK meetings and by mail order. These are likely to be available for the start of the outdoor season. An opportunity to buy the specially designed Roald Bradstock BASC shirts was mailed to all members in January 2010 and, as with previous sales of T shirts, has proved immensely popular (although we still have some left for any members who have not yet purchased them!). We would like to hear from you if there are any specific items of merchandise you would be interested in. |
BASC dinner
|
Another of the extremely popular members' dinners was held in Birmingham on July 11th 2009 during trials weekend. We will be holding a special 50th anniversary dinner later in 2010 and booking forms will be mailed to all current members nearer the time. | |
